The Georgia Alliance for Ethics Reform needs your help!
We’ve been hard at work trying to get ethics reform passed in Georgia, but we can’t do it alone. Our small staffs can do a lot, but when we’re covering over 9 million people and 236 state legislators we– and the citizens of Georgia– need your help to pass comprehensive ethics reform!
That’s why we’re asking you to volunteer with the Alliance during the legislative session. Whether you have only minutes to spare or can dedicate a few hours, whether you want to work from home or come to our office, whether you live in the Atlanta area or down by the Florida border– you can help! While we have several volunteer needs, it would be most helpful if you could spend even a few minutes each day calling three or four of your fellow Georgia citizens and remind them to call their legislators about the ethics bills to help get them passed. With a little effort, we can pass both House and Senate ethics bills and make Georgia government more accountable to us all.
Ethics reform is important, and your legislators need to know just how much it matters to you and your fellow citizens! If you’re interested in volunteering, please call William Perry at (404)524-4598 or email wperry@commoncause.org.
